We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! The work at CityLine continues on, particularly at Building T, the Whole Foods Market and AMC Theatre. Currently the scaffolding has been taken down on three sides as we prepare to finalize the panel and glass installation. The garage work is nearly complete as the grand staircase is being finalized and the exterior painting is about to begin. We are working hand-in-hand with the AMC team to open as soon as possible, and right now it looks like an early February opening. Whole Foods will begin their tenant improvement work in October, for an early 2020 opening as well. The Flats apartments are currently open and over 95% occupied! The retail space below the apartments is currently being leased, and we’ll be announcing an exciting lineup very soon.
The Flats Phase 1, which are the residential units on Washington and both sides of McKinley are completed and leasing! The core/shell retail under these spaces is also completed. All of the new intersections on Mathilda, Iowa, Sunnyvale and Washington are also complete. The Whole Foods Market and AMC Theatre are well under construction with the anticipation of opening at the end of 2019. The second-floor exterior sheathing is complete, and you will see scaffolding surrounding the building by the end of January. The improvements on the adjacent parking garage is also underway, including the demolition and shoring necessary for the new elevators, and entry into the WFM lobby.
